Terms of Service
Effective 26 October 2026. TenantGreen is operated by Supreeth Tata, sole proprietor, trading as TenantGreen, H.No. 1-4-213/24, Sadana Vihar Colony, Kapra, Sainikpuri, Hyderabad — 500062 ("TenantGreen", "we").
1. What TenantGreen is
TenantGreen is a rental verification service. A property owner who has already found a candidate tenant asks us to verify the details the candidate shared. With the candidate's consent, we check those details against documents and references, and give BOTH the owner and the candidate the same report: what was confirmed, what didn't match, and what we could not verify.
2. What TenantGreen is not
We are not a broker, an estate agent, a credit bureau, or a guarantor. We do not find tenants, negotiate rent, hold deposits, or process rent payments. The report is information, not a guarantee: a verification is a check of specific claims on a specific date, not a prediction of anyone's future behaviour. The decision to rent, or not to rent, is always the owner's — TenantGreen does not make it, and the report does not make it for them.
3. Accounts and truthfulness
Owners must request verification only for a genuine rental of a property they are entitled to offer. Candidates must share only their own, genuine documents. We may refuse or cancel any request that appears to misuse the service, and the front door is ours to close.
4. Fees
Verification is charged at a flat fee published on the site: ₹1,999 for a verification, and ₹1,499 for verifying another candidate for the same property within 6 months. The fee is payable by the owner once the candidate completes their part, before verification work begins. If we cannot complete the verification, we refund the fee. Fees do not depend on whether a tenancy results — we are paid for the verification, not the outcome.
5. The report
The report reflects what we could and could not verify as of its date, from the sources it names. Court-record searches are name-based and may miss or mismatch records. Both parties receive the same report; neither receives the other's raw documents. A report is for the rental decision it was requested for — it is not a certificate, a rating, or a score, and "TenantGreen" on a report is never an endorsement of any person.
6. Data
Our handling of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy and the specific consents collected in the product. The candidate — not the owner — decides what may be checked.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim arising from a verification is limited to the fee paid for that verification. We are not liable for decisions the owner or candidate makes, or for losses arising from the tenancy itself.
8. Disputes and law
These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction. Write to us first: hello@tenantgreen.com — most problems are fixable without anyone's lawyer.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the version on this page is the one in force. Material changes are announced on this page with their date.
